As those of you who’ve read Shadowfever know, Valentine’s Day at Chester’s underground nightclub is a walk on the dark, erotic, and wild side. For a price you get a shot at immortality.
When I began writing the scene where Mac goes to the club on the evening of her less-than-perfect Valentine’s Day and finds it filled with balloons stuffed with gruesome “prizes,” and sees all the Unseelie and Seelie gathered, watching, waiting for the next human that wants to play rough and dangerous, I knew I needed the perfect song for the moment. I couldn’t find one. So Neil and I decided to write it.
"Valentine" is the song playing at the moment Mac steps inside and looks around and—for one day only— it’s free to download from my website.
Warning: you MUST be 18 or older to download it. It contains explicit lyrics. It is explicit. Don’t download it unless you want to hear a graphic song. It’s the Fae talking to humans. Or maybe it’s a vampire's invitation. Or who knows…maybe it’s a group of men masquerading as humans giving all the warning they'll ever give. Whatever…this is NOT your mother’s Valentine’s Day song.
Come to Chester’s….where blood is the new chocolate…

A gorgeous pink Swarovski Crystal Heart Necklace!
Post a picture on my fan wall page of who you think best represents Jericho Barrons.
You can only post one picture and can't post a picture someone else has posted. (To be fair, Eric Eterbari can't be nominated, sorry guys, LOL!)
I will pick the 10 pictures I like best at midnight tonight, and create an album of those pictures to post on my wall.
Then everyone has to vote on which of the ten pictures they think is the best JZB.
The person whose picture gets the most votes by Friday, at noon Pacific Time wins the necklace.
(That means if your picture is selected as one of the ten finalists at the end of the day today, you have three and a half days to campaign and convince people to vote for your entry!)
Happy Valentine's Day!
Now show me your best JZB!
