When I began writing the scene where Mac goes to the club on the evening of her less-than-perfect Valentine’s Day and finds it filled with balloons stuffed with gruesome “prizes,” and sees all the Unseelie and Seelie gathered, watching, waiting for the next human that wants to play rough and dangerous, I knew I needed the perfect song for the moment. I couldn’t find one. So Neil and I decided to write it.
