In my next life

I want to be a cat.

They wander from place to place and sleep.

In between eating and playing.

A day in the life of Moonshadow, who uses a pillow whenever one is available.

So, why the ode to Moonie today?

Because you guys must have done something with your thoughts and prayers. I took her in for bloodwork, fully expecting it to be terrible news since she's in kidney failure and the numbers have been steadily climbing as her weight steadily decreases but I got the results back and she's not only gained some weight--she's back in the normal range! The vet was stunned and mystified, as am I. And grateful. Did I say grateful? Wherever this blessing came from, many thanks!

Oh, my. I really am shocked by the level of stress the poor thing must endure. That last photo just made me gasp. What can we do to help her improve naptime? ;)

What wonderful news that your beautiful girl is doing better...

Outstanding! Moonie has at least 20 lives, and intends to relish ever single one! Her Mom taught her to be one tough kitty. :)

Just read this! I'm so happy!! My own pup has been on a joint supplement that elevated her liver function, so we're doing some good thoughts for her now while we get her off that and eating more. So glad Moonie is feeling a bit better!

That's wonderful news about Moonie! We also have a cat with chronic kidney failure. She's on daily medication and has regular injections and blood tests. Isabella's a ragdoll but she's only a little girl just over 3kg. She's just had her fifth birthday and she's been getting better rsults since she's been having Coenzyme Q10 each day, as well as her other medication.
