FEVERCON Itinerary!

I can't believe it's been so long since I've blogged. It's been a crazy few months. I'm wrapping up final copyedits on Shadowfever , completing my treatment for the Fever graphic novel (which is really only the beginning of the fun work!) and finalizing details for FEVERCON.

I'm delighted to announce that in additon to Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole, Eric Etebari, Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross, two more special guests will be joining us for the signings: Dianna Love and Stacia Kane! Dianna will be joining us on Friday and Stacia will be with us on Sunday. Both of their publishers have donated books for the goody bags!

And now, the itinerary. Keep in mind, last minute adjustments may need to be made, but I expect this to be fairly accurate. Saturday is packed full, so be ready to play hard and party late!

More details:

The goody bags are loaded with fabulous books so keep that in mind while you're packing. Hyatt provides a shipping service if you don't want to carry your books home.

There is FEVERCON merchandise in the Online Store now. Please remember that the shirts tend to run small. All designs are available for men and women. We also have FEVERCON bags and mugs available. If you'd like to see the design on a different product, email Leiha and she'll make it available.

Many of you are planning on bringing spouses to FEVERCON and have expressed desire to bring them to special events. We have made arrangements to allow registrants who are participating in FEVERCON to bring their spouse to the Neil Dover/BloodRush Concert or the Pink and Black Mac Ball, or both. You will need to buy a spouse ticket, $25.00 per event. Tickets can be purchased at registration (cash only please) and ID must be presented to verify that they are your spouse.

Have you booked your hotel room yet? If you want to book your room for the discounted FEVERCON price of $135 for a double room the deadline to book is Sept 8th. Here is the link to the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta.

If you're driving in, there is a discounted parking rate of $17 a day (normally $27). Let the attendant know when you arrive that you are there for FEVERCON.

For those of you flying in, the Atlanta Marta transit system has a direct line from the airport to the Hyatt Regency.

Take the Red or Gold line north and exit at Peachtree Center Station. This will be a $2 ride and about 19 minutes. You won't have to make any transfers and there's a map at the Airport station as well as on the trains. Peachtree Center is connected to the Hyatt.

Peachtree Center is full of restaurants and a food court if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

Do you know about the FEVERCON group on my message board? There is a lot of planning going on among the attendees there, including costume ideas, roommate searches and what to do in the limited free time. If you would like to join the group please email Leiha with your message board name and she will send you an invite.
