Blood Lily revisted, Moonie and ShadowFever Cover...

I love flowers but I never seem to get enough time, so the extent of my gardening consists of someone thrusting bulbs or twigs in my hands and telling me to plant them. I usually get around to it by the time the twig looks completely dead or the bulb appears rotten, so I’m astonished each Spring when new life explodes around me.

I have no idea where these red lilies came from but I adore them. They’re ambitious about their beauty. Each year they strive to outdo the previous years’ blooms and this year they rocked. The center bunch is nearly five feet tall. For frame of reference, that’s a standard height bird bath to the right of them.

As you can see by my photo of Moonie, I’m late putting it up. She thoroughly enjoyed watching the Superbowl from the lush comfort of her pink heart bed with her pink heart pillow, LOL.

I got my first look at the initial mockup of the cover for SHADOWFEVER last week, and can’t wait to share it with you! I adore eBooks—you can’t beat the ease of transport—but there’s a part of me that craves the tactile experience, loves to touch the cover, smell the ink and paper, and see books lined up on my shelves. It makes me feel rich, to have all those stories and possibilities staring back at me. I can’t begin to describe the stunning package Delacorte developed for the conclusion of the FEVER series. I expect to have the final version this week and hope to unveil it next weekend. Yes, it deserves an unveiling! It’s stunning!

Speaking of Shadowfever, it’s coming along. And along and along. Yes, it's long....I'm loving it, and hope you guys do, too!

Moonie looks adorable! You can tell she likes guys in tight pants. LOL!

I'm looking forward to the cover, but as bonniepenny said, I'm more anxious to see the pages in between.

Before then, FEVERCON! WOOHOO!

Gorgeous !!! I can honestly say that FC has definitely taken a lot of the anxiety and I feel way more relaxed regarding Shadowfever ... I'm starting to feel like I don't want it to end, never.

I hope Shadowfever is REALLY long. As a conclusion to the series, it should be :)

I have been having a hard time waiting for ShadowFever also. I am currently refreshing myself with the series listening to all of the other books on audio.(Yes, I did actually read them the first time around). Might there be any clues on the cover? As far as the story goes, even though the suspense is killing me, it is better that the story is long because there are so many questions that we need to be answered.
Can't wait to see the cover.

Beautiful flowers! I love this time of year. Can't wait to see the cover, but I could wait for this ending. No kidding. Take your time. We will love it as we do you. It's the end and it deserves patience.

That color of your flower is so beautiful. I am always so jealous of the beautiful colors of spring flowers. I always wish I could get that EXACT color in a hat, lipstick, or dress.... though that never seems to work out. lol.
Thanks for the update on Shadowfever. I'm always stoked to hear any update on it that is avail. Can't wait till Dec.

Just curious Karen, you said its really really long... Can we get a hint on page numbers? *grin* Maybe how many you've written already and what you hope to have it at near the end? XD Sorry if you can't share that but December is SO far away that if I get a big huge book and know the number it will totally make me be patient and worth the wait. XD Thanks for sharing the lovely photos as well!
