BLOODRUSH, a belated thanks and the June newsletter...

Here are a few pics from the BLOODRUSH event. Neil and I had a total blast! I just listened to the mastered version of Taking Back the Night and it gives me chills, you guys were so awesome!

It was wonderful seeing new faces, greeting familiar ones and making magic happen together. I can't wait to share the CD with you all.

Sue, thank you so much for the gorgeous necklace. You are so thoughtful and I need all the strength I can get. Angela, the bath products are to die for! I love sea salts! (And Daegus was beautiful!) Bonnie, you are so talented but I'm having to fight Jessi for the earrings and necklace, LOL. She adores you (as do we all!) Krissy, I love, love, love the hot pink photo album of our last get together at Basil's! Debbie, the N'Awlins gifts are wonderful. You know I have a special place in my heart for the city. I lost the peach pie to Neil, but I got the chips. And of course The Hat. (Yes, it deserves the capitals, LOL)

I can't thank you all enough for coming together for the event. I felt so much unity and support and love in the gathering, it humbles me. What a wonderful bunch of people!

I just got a sneak peek at the August RT Book Reviews cover and

wow! As I sit here with my coffee, no makeup and my short hair sticking up funny, I feel pretty good!

They did a great article and there's an excerpt in the August issue that you won't find anywhere else. From a POV you haven't seen yet :)
